22 THINGS YOU CAN DO WHILE IN QUARANTINE
(1) Learn a new software
This doesn’t have to be a try-hard thing — it can just actually be so fun. I have been relearning the adobe cloud, specifically Photoshop. I’ve also been making tunes on GarageBand and it’s so fun.
(2) Start a blog
(3) Paint or draw
(4) Write your own tv show - and then you can film it and act it out
(5) Pull out the cooking book you’ve opened once or twice
(6) Go on a walk — keeping 6 feet distance !!!
(7) Clean out a room in your house (or the drawers, cabinets, etc)
(8) Learn a new dance
This could be cute by yourself or for couples. YouTube a tango tutorial and put it on the tv and learn how together. Orrrr you can do those Tik Tok dances
(9) Stick and Poke yourself
Although Coronavirus isn’t forever, your DIY tattoo can be ;)
(10) Turn it into a mediation/silent retreat
You can read my 5 Benefits of Undistracted Silence for inspiration. People pay a lot of money for silent retreats and essentially to quarantine themselves… you can do it for free!
(11) Take a bubble bath
(12) Bring out your old video game console
My sister stole my Nintendo 64, old Xbox, and also my Gamecube I think, really ruining this one for me… but I imagine it’d be fun
(13) Learn a new skill
It could be a new instrument. a handstand, or a language:

(14) Check in on friend that you haven’t spoken to in a while
(15) Shave off all your body hair
I tried this one. Mixed reviews from me, but was at least something new
(16) Get a dog
You got all the time to train it and then you can be locked-down to one location for the next 10-15 years.
(17) Clean out / sort your phone or computer photo/content libraries; share old memories with friends as you’re doing so
(18) Follow a YouTube makeup tutorial
(19) Trim your nose hairs
(20) Write a hand-written letter to someone
(21) From a bff: “being disciplined about how/when you check COVID news. There’s an awful lot of bullshit out there that’s untrue and peddling fear. But also you can stay informed while still only checking for updates a few times a day. Here’s a site spittin’ the cold hard facts that [a close CDC relative] shared with me early on. It’s pretty dense and boring, but at the very least trustworthy.
