Asking Yourself the Right Questions
We are asking ourselves questions all the time. Whatever questions we ask, our mind will come up with an answer.
If you ask yourself why you suck everyday, you’ll find the answer. And the opposite is true. So first, we must work to become aware of the questions we are asking ourselves. And then take note of which ones empower us and which ones don’t.
And then we can intentionally craft new questions.
Here are questions I posted on my mirror to ask every morning and every night (note: many of the questions come from Tony Robbins’ Personal Power program).
Morning Questions:
What am I happy about in my life right now?
What about that makes me happy?
How does that make me feel? (and let your body actually feel it… sit in it)
What am I excited about in my life right now?
What about that makes me excited?
How does that make me feel? (search in your body)
What am I grateful about in my life now?
What about that makes me grateful?
How does that make me feel?
How can I become a millionaire by my 26th birthday and enjoy the process?
What can I do today?
How does that make me feel?
How can I follow through on my ideas today?
Nightly Questions:
What have I given today?
In what ways have I been a giver today?
What did I learn today?
What about that makes me excited?
How does that make me feel?
How has today added to the quality of my life?
How can I use today as an investment in my future?
I encourage you to ask yourself questions that puts you in the states you desire and leads you to be the person you want to be :)
