Product Recommendation: Paleo Puffs (also on Amazon)
Oh my god. I'm not big on snacks, chips, or anything like these, but these puffs move so crazy. The exterior is crunchy like a Cheeto, but they have this *TRIGGER WARNING* moist interior that comes from the coconut oil. I could easily eat an entire bag in an afternoon if I let myself. No bagged, baked snack is going to be good for you, but it doesn't seem horrible for you either. Idk. Proceed with caution.
Song Recommendation: Gente Aberta by Erasmo Carlos
Some more beautiful Brazilian music for you. This album is so good. Thank you, once again, Calvin Griffin (follow on Spotify for the best playlists)
Film Recommendation: Dr. Strangelove by Stanley Kubrick
A 1964 Kubrick classic. An engaging satirical about doomsday and nuclear warfare
Could be an especially engaging in our current climate of governmental reliance
Book Recommendation: 4 Hour Chef by Tim Ferris
I'm working through this right now with my girlfriend
It's sooooooo fun and engaging -- so cool to learn how to cook well in this quarantine stage
The first part of the book breaks down accelerated learning techniques and then you get into some righteous food exploration
It was created to solve all of the problems of cooking/cookbooks. So it has:
quick clean up
few ingredients
straightforward directions
backup plans
and recipes that will get you very fit, as they are based on the slow-carb diet
If you get it, let me know and we can share photos of our meals together!
Podcast Recommendation: How I Built This with Guy Raz: Featuring Joe Gebbia of Airbnb
This podcast as a whole is so engaging
I've listened to most of them
It shares inspiring stories, primarily from entrepreneurs. So many great lessons to be learned: the most unifying thread in my opinion is resilience
